Western region 1: AB HOops summit

The Alberta Hoops Summit: Presented by Under Armour, "Crossin' to the top" is a tournament presented by A.C.E. Basketball (formerly Gotham Basketball Academy). 2023 marked the inaugural season for AB Hoops Summit, which is part of a larger series – Canada Hoops Circuit.

 AB Hoops Summit (and subsequent provincial summits) supports the mission of CHC, encouraging Canadian student-athletes to stay home in their own “backyard” by facilitating and fostering relationships between secondary students and post-secondary coaches. It serves to connect Alberta and other Canadian post-secondary institutions/post-grad programs and Canadian student-athletes. Basketball in Canada is equally competitive to that in the U.S. and each provincial Summit helps promote the pursuit of post-secondary education and playing careers in USports, CCAA & Prep Schools.  

In partnership with Under Armour and clubs in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada, AB Hoops Summit will be the sixth stop in this cross-Canada tour - includes: BC Hoops Summit, Midwest Hoops Summit, ON Hoops Summit, ATL Hoops Summit & QC Hoops Summit; the final tournament culminating at the annual Canada Hoops Circuit Nationals.
